Sisters is a German television film directed by Edward Berger from 2004 . It is the sixth episode of the Bloch television series .

action

The violinist Lilly presents herself on stage as a satisfied artist who is at ease with herself. Dr. Maximilian Bloch gets to know Lilly more closely as a private person, and learns that she has been consuming tablets in life-threatening doses for a long time. Bloch also notices her numerous cuts. Lilly has a tendency to self-destruct because she cannot withstand the pressure of success. The experienced psychotherapist wants to help the aspiring artist to lead a life worth living.

The critics of the television magazine TV Spielfilm gave the film the best possible rating, they pointed with the thumbs up. They stated: “The drama takes its time - and is very touching”.
