Bloh is a district of the Bad Zwischenahn community in the Ammerland district in Lower Saxony . In the south it borders on Petersfehn I, in the west on Wehnen , in the north on Ofen and in the east on the districts of Wechloy and Bloherfelde von Oldenburg .

history

Bloh is first mentioned in a document in 1425 as Bylo ( near the wood ). In 1428 the place consists of only two farms. Even in 1860 there are only three houses with a total of 33 residents.

Bloh originally belonged to the rural municipality of Oldenburg , until it was divided into the independent municipalities of Eversten and Ohmstede in 1897 . When Eversten was divided again in 1924, Bloh came to the newly founded municipality of Ofen and, after its dissolution in 1933, finally to the municipality of Bad Zwischenahn.
