action

Saya is half demon and half human. She hunts demons and wants to take revenge on the oldest demoness, Onigen, because she murdered her father. Disguised as a student, she is sent to Kanto High School near Yokota Air Base in Tokyo by an organization called The Council of Elders . There she discovers two demons and kills them. However, she is observed by her classmate Alice and she tells her father, who is a general. When they investigate the crime scene, no traces are found, as the council of elders has removed them all.

Alice does her own research. She goes to the bar where her Kendo trainer often spends his time. There it turns out that all visitors to the bar are demons, including their teacher. She escapes and is saved by Saya, who kills all the demons. She now realizes Saya's true identity. When Alice goes home, she sees the council of elders killing her father. She can escape to Saya, who asks why she works for the killers. However, this only occasionally does jobs for the council of elders and is otherwise independent. Saya then protects Alice. Both flee. In the mountains she fights another demon. The fight causes them to fall into a ravine and lose consciousness. When they wake up, they are in ancient Japan and meet Onigen, the mother of Saya. Saya can defeat her and Alice wakes up and is questioned by the police about what happened. They don't believe her story.

The film grossed 473,992 US dollars into Japan and 5,874,530 $ worldwide.
