Božidar Ćosić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Божидар Ћосић ; born July 25, 1982 in Šabac , Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian football player .

Life

Born in Šabac in the Okrug Mačva in the Serbian heartland, Ćosić played as a youth in his hometown at FK Mačva Šabac and in Vojvodina at FK Vojvodina Novi Sad. 1998–1999 he received the well-known youth grant from Ajax Amsterdam. Not yet of legal age, he was transferred to FC Utrecht in 1999.

This was not overly successful years at KFC Uerdingen 05 from 2000 to 2004, before he was able to gain experience in a few games in his home country for a year at FK Železnik in the SuperLiga from 2004 to 2005 . In 2007 a shorter visit to the second Russian division at FK Chimki followed . He spent the 2007/2008 season in Belgrade with FK Zemun and came to some missions. In 2008 he moved to Hungary to Debreceni Vasutas and from 2009 to 2011, after an interlude at FK Modriča Maxima in Bosnia-Herzegovina , he worked in Romania : first in 2009/2010 at Petrolul Ploieşti and then at CS Concordia Chiajna , with whom he in June 2011 could celebrate promotion to League 1 . Ćosić moved to the second division club CS Turnu Severin in the summer of 2011 , who also rose to the end of the 2011/12 season . This was followed by another second division season at FC Olt Slatina , which was followed by a move to second division club CS Universitatea Craiova in the summer of 2013 . During the 2013/14 winter break, the contract in Craiova was terminated. Božidar Ćosić has been active for the Austrian district league team ASKÖ Vorchdorf since summer 2014.
