Bojan Janić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Бојан Јанић ; born November 3, 1982 in Leskovac , Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian volleyball player .

Career

Janić started his career in 2002 at OK Vojvodina . With the team from Novi Sad he won the national cup of Serbia and Montenegro in the first season . In the same year he reached the final of the world league and third place in the World Cup with the national team . The outside attacker then moved to the Italian league, where he first played for Estense Torri Ferrara and the following season for Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia . In 2005 the national team came in third place after participating in the finals again in the world league at the European Championships in their own country. Janić went to Spain for Unicaja Almería for a year before he was under contract from 2006 to 2008 with the Italian second division clubs Codyeco Santa Croce and Marmi Lanza Verona . At the EM 2007 the Serbs came third again. In 2008 they took part as a world league finalist at the Olympic tournament in Beijing , where the team with Janić lost to the eventual winner USA in the quarter-finals . In the next season, the attacker played in Poland for Trefl Sopot and in the 2009 World League Serbia came second again. Janić moved to the Czech Republic to VK Jaroslavice . In 2011 he was signed by Fakel Novy Urengoy . In 2012 he played with Serbia at the Olympic Games in London .
