Men's Volleyball World Cup 2003

The 2003 Volleyball World Cup was the tenth edition of the competition. It took place in Japan between November 16 and November 30 . Brazil won the title. This competition was also considered a qualification for the 2004 Olympic Games .

•  South Korea and People's Republic of China as finalists of the 2003 Asian Cup 
•  USA and Canada as finalists in the 2003 NORCECA Championship 
•  Brazil and Venezuela as the winner and runner-up of the 2003 South American Championship 
•  Tunisia won the 2003 African Cup of Nations
•  Serbia and Montenegro and Egypt at the invitation of the FIVB

The twelve participants played four rounds, informally divided into two groups. The system was "everyone against everyone". The first three teams each received a place for the 2004 Olympic Games .
