Fylde is an administrative district with borough status in the county of Lancashire in England . In 2011 it had 120,684 inhabitants. The administrative seat is the city of Lytham St Annes , with some departments in Kirkham . The district was formed on April 1, 1974 and was created from the merger of the Borough of Lytham , the Urban District Kirkham and the Rural District Fylde.
