The Bourges is a river in France that runs in the Ardèche department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . Its source stream Ruisseau des Chabottes rises in the Cevennes , in the southern municipality of Lachamp-Raphaël . The river drains in the upper reaches in a north-westerly direction, then turns generally to the south, crosses the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park and flows 19 kilometers below Saint-Pierre-de-Colombier as a left tributary into the Fontolière .

Attractions

In the upper reaches are the Cascade du Ray-Pic , a 30 meter high double waterfall in the basalt rock.
