Braden Lee (born December 12, 1983 in Queenstown ) is a New Zealand ice hockey player who has been under contract with Southern Stampede in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League since 2005 .

Career

Braden Lee began his career as a hockey player in his hometown with Southern Stampede , for which he has been participating in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League since the 2005 season and with which he was New Zealand champion straight away . In the finals, the attacker and his team had prevailed 5-3 and 3-3 against South Auckland Swarm . In the 2009 season, the national player reached the championship final again with the team from Queenstown, but lost with his team to the Canterbury Red Devils 4-5. In 2011 the final was lost - this time against Botany Swarm . He then sat out in the 2012 season and did not play in the league. In 2015, 2016 and 2017, however, he was able to win other titles with Southern Stampede.

International

For New Zealand , Lee took part in the Division III World Championships in 2007 and 2009 , when he and his compatriot Brett Speirs became the second-best preparer behind Robert Beran from Luxembourg , as well as the Division II World Championships in 2004 , 2006 , 2008 and 2011 .
