Brauereigasthof in Spielberg (2014)

The brewery inn in Spielberg , a district of the Gnotzheim community in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Central Franconia , was essentially built in 1671/72 ( dendrochronologically dated) and changed in the 19th century. The inn at Spielberg 1 is on the list of protected architectural monuments in Bavaria.

The two-storey saddle roof building in a corner position with pilaster strips was part of a larger facility with a brewery (new building from the years 1854/55) and a malt house , which was demolished in 1988.

The inn and the former brewery stand at right angles around a courtyard. The coat of arms of the von Oettingen-Spielberg family is attached above the portal .
