The Brennan Inlet is an ice-covered bay before Bakutis Coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd lands . It is located in the south-eastern section of the Getz Ice Shelf . It is bounded to the west by the Scott Peninsula and Nunn Island and to the east by the Spaulding Peninsula .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the bay after Lieutenant Commander Lawrence A. Brennan of the United States Navy Reserve Forces , who planned and carried out the salvage of three LC-130 aircraft at Dome Charlie in the Antarctic summers between 1975 and 1976 and between 1976 and 1977 was involved.
