Brigitte Bayer

Brigitte Bayer (* 1983 in Munich ) is a German singer ( soprano ) and voice trainer .

Life

Brigitte Bayer's musical training began with piano lessons and early musical education in her childhood. At the age of six she already sang in the children's choir of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich , to which she belonged for seven years. During her high school years at the Pestalozzi-Gymnasium in Munich , she was accepted into the Bavarian Singing Academy and received her first singing lessons at the age of seventeen as part of the gifted promotion of the Free State of Bavaria .

After graduating from high school in 2003, she began her studies at the University of Music and Theater in Munich , which she graduated with a diploma in 2008 and continued in the master class with Daphne Evangelatos . During her studies, Bayer could be heard in productions at the Bavarian Theater Academy , such as the role of Pepi Pleininger in “ Wiener Blut ” under the direction of Siegfried Mauser and directed by Renate Ackermann .

In the 2006/07 season she appeared as Sandman / Taumännchen in " Hansel and Gretel " and as Papagena in " The Magic Flute " at the State Theater on Gärtnerplatz and received the Dieter Ulrich Music Prize from Werbe-Spiegel. At this theater she was also active in the next season as a member of the " Akademie Musiktheater " studio .

In addition to opera, Brigitte Bayer also specializes in song and oratorio and works as a vocal trainer.
