Brigitte Johanna Wasmeyer

Brigitte Johanna Wasmeyer (* 1943 in Linz ) is an Austrian painter , graphic artist , textile artist and author.

Live and act

The artist grew up in Linz and Eferding on which attended high school in Bregenz and Bad Ischl and studied from 1960 to 1962 at the School of Art Linz graphics at Alfons Ortner and weaving on Hochwebestuhl at Schegula . She lived and worked for some time in the Egon Hofmann House in Linz, later moved to Graz and completed study trips to Paris , southern France and southern Italy . In 1976 she opened a studio in Helfenberg . Wasmeyer is a member of the Graz Secession and the MAERZ artists' association .

Works are u. a. in the art collection of the Province of Upper Austria and in the Federal Chancellery.
