British Grove Studios
The British Grove Studios are two recording studios owned by the guitarist Mark Knopfler in Chiswick , London , United Kingdom .
Furnishing
The building complex was developed and built by Knopfler as a “monument to old and new recording technology”. In addition to mainly new recording devices and methods, the studios have, for example, two old mixing consoles from the EMI Group , which were also used by George Martin for the recordings of the Beatles . The studio also has a specially made AMS Neve console with modules such as limiters and equalizers from Automated Processes, Incorporation. High quality and modern loudspeaker boxes from ATC such as ATC SCM 300ASL and ATC SCM0.1 / 15ASL PRO speakers in stereo are part of the studios.
In February 2009, British Grove Studios received a Best Studio award from the Music Producers Guild Organization.
