Broc Little (born March 24, 1988 in Phoenix , Arizona ) is an American ice hockey player who has been under contract with Linköpings HC in the Svenska Hockeyligan since May 2018 .

Career

At the beginning of his career Little was on the ice between 2007 and 2011 for the university team of Yale University in the ECAC Hockey , which is integrated into the game operations of the NCAA . As a result, the attacker was able to win the championship in the ECAC in the 2008/09 and 2010/11 seasons . In the summer of 2011, the American decided to move to Europe and played for the Swedish club VIK Västerås HK in the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan in the 2011/12 season . With 35 goals and 31 assists from 51 season games, Little was able to recommend himself for a contract with the first division club AIK Stockholm , for which he ran up in the following season and marked a total of 46 scorer points in 55 games.

For the 2013/14 season , the left shooter returned to North America and signed a contract with the Springfield Falcons from the American Hockey League , which was dissolved in January 2014 after 20 missions by mutual agreement. After a brief engagement with the Iowa Wild , the American decided to move to Scandinavia again and signed up for the rest of the season with the Finnish first division club Jokerit . In the summer of 2014 Little moved to Linköpings HC in the SHL and was the league's top scorer in the past season with 28 goals in 55 games and was therefore awarded the Håkan Loob Trophy .

He left Linköping after the 2016/17 season and moved to HC Davos in the Swiss National League .

Internationally, he represented his home country at the 2018 Winter Olympics and finished seventh there with the team that competed without an NHL player. Little returned to the LHC in May 2018.
