Brunn is around nine kilometers from Tirschenreuth in the historic Stiftland region . The hamlet is located in the north of the Upper Palatinate Forest and is around ten kilometers from the Bavarian-Czech border. To the south of Brunn lies the parish village of Schwarzenbach, which belongs to Bärnau , and to the north the village of Dippersreuth.
history
The hamlet, consisting of only a handful of farms, was first mentioned in 1135. For a long time it belonged to the municipality of Matzersreuth, which was incorporated into the district town of Tirschenreuth as part of the regional reform in Bavaria on May 1, 1978.
Infrastructure
District road 1 connects Brunn with the neighboring towns of Gründlbach and Matzersreuth and the district town of Tirschenreuth.
