Rosall is a district of the district town of Tirschenreuth in the Upper Palatinate . The place is ten kilometers northeast of Tirschenreuth in Stiftland . Rosall has a volunteer fire department .

The village of Rosall is about ten kilometers northeast of Tirschenreuth. The town is connected to the neighboring towns of Wondreb in the south and Wernersreuth and Pfaffenreuth in the north by county roads .

history

Rosall was first mentioned in 1716 under the name "Rösel". The name could be derived from the Slavic words rozsadlo (scattered seat) or ruslo (river, river bed).

The municipality of Rosall was dissolved on January 1, 1971 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria . A part was incorporated into the municipality of Wernersreuth. Already on April 1, 1971, this part came to Neualbenreuth with Wernersreuth. The other part of the community came to Wondreb and thus on May 1, 1978 to Tirschenreuth.
