Bruno Klockmann

Bruno Heinrich Ludwig Klockmann (born April 4, 1894 in Weißenfels ; † September 23, 1964 ) was a German actor .

Life

Bruno Klockmann was born as the son of the actor and businessman Richard Klockmann and his wife Käthe. He graduated from secondary school and then received an acting training from his father. From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War as a soldier . This was followed by engagements at theaters in Elbing , Thorn and Reval and various Berlin theaters ( Theater des Westens and Rose Theater ) as well as a tour with Albert Bassermann . This was followed by other activities until 1944, including at the Schiller Theater and the Volksbühne in Berlin. After the end of the Second World War , Klockmann played at the Theater am Schiffbauerdamm and from 1947 at the Hamburger Kammerspiele and the Theater im Zimmer .

From 1937 Bruno Klockmann worked in film and television productions . These included the feature films Mordsache Holm by Erich Engels with Walter Steinbeck , Elisabeth Wendt and Harald Paulsen , Escape into the Dark by Arthur Maria Rabenalt with Joachim Gottschalk and Ernst von Klipstein and Hertha Feiler and The Muzzle from 1958 by Wolfgang Staudte with OE Hasse , Hertha Feiler and Hansjörg Felmy .

Bruno Klockmann was also active in several radio play productions and as a voice actor.
