Bruno Santos da Silva (born August 31, 1983 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian soccer player . The striker , who often only Bruno Santos is called, played in the course of his career in his home country, France and Sweden.

Career

Santos, who played for CF Zico in his youth , came to Sweden in 2004 from the Brazilian club Flamengo Rio de Janeiro , where he joined the then second division IFK Norrköping in the Superettan . By the end of the second division season in 2004 , he scored eleven goals in 17 games this season, when he was fourth in the table he missed a promotion place with the team. In the following season he was again dangerous for goals, with 16 goals this season he was crowned top scorer in the second division in front of his compatriot Wilton Figueiredo, who played for the Gothenburg club GAIS . Due to injury, he was unable to build on personal successes in the following two seasons.

In 2008 Santos returned to Brazil where he played for Figueirense FC . With the club he won the Santa Catarina State Championship in 2008 , but was only a substitute player for most of the time. He then sought his luck again in Europe in the summer of 2009 when he joined the French club LB Châteauroux . Here he stayed only a few months, in Ligue 2 he played seven games - at the same time he played for the reserve team in the Championnat de France Amateur . He then returned to Brazil for Ceará SC .

In the summer of 2010 Santos returned to IFK Norrköping, where he signed a contract valid until the end of 2013. During his second stay at the club, however, he was not a regular player, with three goals in twelve games this season he contributed to promotion to the Allsvenskan at the end of the second division season in 2010 . In the top division he was only in one of his seven appearances in the 2011 season , so in March of the following year he was awarded to the second division Ljungskile SK together with his teammate Riki Cakić . Here he scored five goals in 18 games. Shortly before the start of the 2013 season , IFK Norrköping prematurely terminated his contract.

Santos later played for the Brazilian club EC Noroeste .
