Brunsbrock is a village with 416 inhabitants in the Verden district in Lower Saxony . It belongs to the municipality of Kirchlinteln and is located in the center of the Lintelner Geest .

Brunsbrock borders Kirchlinteln in the west and Bendingbostel in the east . The place is affected by the Uelzen – Langwedel railway line .

On July 1, 1972, Brunsbrock was incorporated into the Kirchlinteln community.

Culture and sights

The almost 200-year-old miller's house, which is under monument protection , was renovated and expanded into a meeting place for citizens under the direction of the historical preservation department of the Verden district with considerable funds from the state, the Verden district and the municipality of Kirchlinteln. For a small fee, it can also be used by guests for such events. Next door, the Schmomühle, a restored, functional gallery Dutch windmill invites you to visit.

Brunsbrock is the location of a church of the Independent Evangelical Lutheran Church and a miller's house used as a home.

Sports

The football club TSV Brunsbrock 1949 e. V. is based in the district of Kohlenförde and played in the Verden district league in 2012. The club has around 950 members and has three large soccer fields, one small soccer field and three tennis courts and an indoor tennis center. In the Schmohmühlen district of Brunsbrock, near the Schmohmühle, there is a rifle house where the Klein-Linteln rifle club is based. The shooting club includes members from the district of Huxhall and the villages of Klein-Linteln and Kohlenförde.

Economy and Infrastructure

Bus line 715 runs through Brunsbrock from Schafwinkel to Verden via Kirchlinteln and Weitzmühlen , in the other direction via Schafwinkel, Sehlingen and Kirchlinteln to Verden.

Line 783 also operates. It is part of the Bürgerbus Kirchlinteln e. V. and runs from Kirchlinteln via Bendingbostel and St. Pauli near Schafwinkel back to Kirchlinteln.

The closest train stations are Verden (Aller) and Visselhövede .
