Kükenmoor is a village in the unified municipality of Kirchlinteln ( Verden district , Lower Saxony ).

geography

Kükenmoor is located 5 km east of the center of Kirchlinteln, surrounded by fields, pastures and mixed forests. It belongs to the " Lintelner Geest ". This is a group of localities in the district of Verden, which belongs to the municipality of Kirchlinteln and forms part of the largest rural municipality in the district.

The districts of Kükenmoor, Verdenermoor, Goldborn, Neuenkrug, Gohbeck and Papiermühle belong to the village of Kükenmoor.

Neighboring towns are - clockwise from the north - Brunsbrock , Bendingbostel , Groß Heins , Neddenaverbergen , Armsen , Weitzmühlen and Kirchlinteln , which all belong to the municipality of Kirchlinteln.

The Gohbach flows directly through the village and flows into the Aller in Eitze . The Lehrde flows 4 km further southeast.

history

On July 1, 1972, Kükenmoor was incorporated into the Kirchlinteln community.

Culture and sights

• Extensive field, forest and meadow paths invite you to hike and relax.
• The paper mill was operated in Kükenmoor from 1692 to 1910. Parts of the furnishings at that time are kept in the Verden local history museum.

The most important clubs in the village are the Schützenverein Verdenermoor-Kükenmoor e. V., the volunteer fire brigade and the Heimat- und Kulturverein Kükenmoor e. V.

Economy and Infrastructure

The campsite at Salingsloh with approx. 80 parking spaces has existed in the village of Kükenmoor since 1969.

traffic

Kükenmoor can only be reached to a limited extent by public transport, apart from the regional school bus, a route from the Kirchlinteln community bus only runs to Kükenmoor four times a day from Monday to Friday.

Kükenmoor is away from long-distance traffic . The federal motorway 27 runs 2 km southwards. A country road leading from Visselhövede via Kirchlinteln to Verden is 1.5 km to the north.
