Stemmen is a Lower Saxony village in the district of Verden with 97 inhabitants . It belongs to the municipality of Kirchlinteln and is located south of the Kleinbahnwinkel .
history
After dismantling the section of the line leading to Walsrode in 1936, Stemmen is the end point of the section of the Verden (Aller) –Walsrode Nord line coming from Verden , on which regular museum rail traffic takes place. Today the Stemmen station is located here.
On July 1, 1972, Stemmen was incorporated into the Kirchlinteln community.
