The Bruyère is a river in France that runs in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . It rises under the name Vièras on the northwest flank of the Montagne du Malay mountain range in the municipality of La Roque-Esclapon , drains generally in a south-westerly direction through the southeastern edge of the Verdon Regional Nature Park and flows after 16 kilometers at Chardan in the municipality of Comps-sur-Artuby at the military training area Camp militaire de Canjuers as a left tributary into the Artuby .
