Buch is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Wolfpassing municipality in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 86 building areas with 33,033 m² and 114 gardens on 365,529 m² in the cadastral municipality of Buch , in 1989/1990 there were 86 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 93 and in 2009/2010 there were 133 buildings on 246 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 425 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 136 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 460 hectares and 136 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 431 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 151 hectares. The average soil climate number in Buch is 48.9 (as of 2010).
