The Buchenhöhle , also called Buchenloch , near Deutschfeistritz is 464 m above sea level. A. im Kugelstein north of the main town of Deutschfeistritz, south of Badl and northwest of Peggau , Styria in Austria .

The beech cave is located on the south-western slope of the globular stone , around 20 meters northeast above the five- window grotto and east of the Roman hole in a forest slope. The main entrance to the cave is a little to the west above another entrance.
description
The approximately 3 meter long beech cave has two entrances or day openings. In the area of the main entrance there is a large excavation . A 0.3 meter high and 0.4 meter wide, triangular passage branches off from the northeastern part of the excavation. From this passage a 1.7 meter high and 1 meter wide corridor connected to a crevice leads about 2 meters into the mountain. No further branches branch off from this passage.
The cave floor is covered with frost debris and clay .
