Bula Atumba is a small town ( Vila ) and a district in Angola .

history

The village was founded at the beginning of the 20th century under Portuguese colonial administration . On December 13, 1965, Bula Atumba became the seat of an independent district.

The small town of Bula Atumba (also Bula) is the seat of a district of the same name ( Municipio ) in the province of Bengo with about 13,000 inhabitants. The state news agency ANGOP names 13,000 or over 12,000 inhabitants, other sources cite a population of 57,000. Previously, Bula Atumba was part of the Cuanza Norte province .

The neighboring districts are, starting clockwise in the north: Quitexe , Banga , Gonguembo , Pango Aluquém and Dembos .

Two municipalities (Comunas) make up the Bula Atumba district:
