Burt Boutin (born November 18, 1967 in Lansdale , Pennsylvania ) is a professional American poker player . He is two-time bracelet winner of the World Series of Poker .

Poker career

Career

His first success in the poker circuit gained Boutin in 1999, when he was in Las Vegas , a tournament variant Pot Limit Hold'em and also 72,000 dollars won. In 2001 he played for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and immediately won the $ 2000 Pot Limit Hold'em . Until 2006 he only got average results in tournaments. However, in June 2006, he finished second in a World Poker Tour tournament and won more than $ 600,000. At the 2007 WSOP , Boutin was able to confirm his reputation as an excellent Pot Limit Hold'em player. He won the $ 5,000 Pot Limit Omaha rebuy and beat John Juanda , Dave Ulliott and Humberto Brenes at the final table .

Boutin is known to be a bit hyperactive at the poker table. He drinks Red Bull and got his nickname for it.

Overall, Boutin has earned over $ 2.5 million in poker in live tournaments.
