The Main Event of the 2004 World Series of Poker was the main event of the 35th staging of the Poker World Championship in Las Vegas .

The main tournament of the World Series of Poker in No Limit Hold'em started on May 22nd and ended with the final table on May 28th, 2004. The tournament was held for the last time at Binion's Horseshoe in Las Vegas . The total of 2576 participants had to pay a buy-in of 10,000 US dollars each, and there were 226 paid places for them. Best woman was Rose Richie, who finished 98th for $ 20,000.
