Tournament structure

The main tournament of the World Series of Poker in No Limit Hold'em started on May 11th and ended with the final table on May 14th, 1998. The tournament was held at Binion's Horseshoe in Las Vegas . The total of 350 participants had to pay a buy-in of 10,000 US dollars each, and there were 27 paid places for them. Best wife was Susie Isaacs , who came in tenth place for $ 40,000.
