The main tournament of the World Series of Poker in No Limit Hold'em started on May 15 and ended with the final table on May 18, 2000. The tournament was held at Binion's Horseshoe in Las Vegas . The total of 512 participants had to pay a buy-in of US $ 10,000 each, and there were 45 paid places for them. Best woman was Annie Duke , who finished tenth for more than $ 50,000. No German-speaking player could place in the money.
