Tournament structure
The main tournament of the World Series of Poker in No Limit Hold'em started on May 20 and ended with the final table on May 24, 2002. The tournament was held at Binion's Horseshoe in Las Vegas . The total of 631 participants had to pay a buy-in of US $ 10,000 each, and there were 45 paid places for them.
German-speaking participants
The Austrian Siegfried Stockinger ended up as the only German-speaking participant in the money. He finished 17th and took $ 50,000 for it.
