The main tournament of the World Series of Poker in No Limit Hold'em started on May 14th and ended with the final table on May 17, 1990. The tournament was held at Binion's Horseshoe in Las Vegas . The total of 194 participants had to pay a buy-in of 10,000 US dollars each, and there were 36 paid places for them.
