Coach Euro Test 2007

The titles Bus of the Year and Coach of the Year are awards for omnibus models. The competition has been organized by several European trade magazines since 1989.

procedure

Five to six bus models proposed by the manufacturers undergo the Bus Euro Test or the Coach Euro Test every year in early summer . The Bus & Coach of the Year jury , which consists of 19 specialist journalists, selects the bus or coach of the year based on defined criteria . City and intercity buses are tested in odd years, and coaches in even years . Practical suitability comes first. The year of the award refers to the following year.

The award ceremony takes place in autumn at the alternating trade fairs IAA Commercial Vehicles and Busworld . It has become common practice that the Bus of the Year title is awarded at the IAA Commercial Vehicles in Hanover and the Coach of the Year title at the Busworld in Kortrijk, Belgium .
