Buse Naz Cakiroglu (* 26. May 1996 ) is a Turkish female boxer in the flyweight . She is around 1.60 m tall and trains at Fenerbahçe SK .

Career

Buse Naz Çakıroğlu was the quarter-finalist of the 2014 European Youth Championships in Assisi and the last 16 of the 2016 European Championships in Sofia . At the World Championships 2016 in Astana , she was eliminated in the preliminary round.

In 2017 she won the EU championships in Roccaporena and in 2018 the U22 European championships in Târgu Jiu . At the European Championships in Sofia in 2018, she won the silver medal and then started at the World Championships in New Delhi in 2018 , where she was again defeated in the preliminary round.

2019 was her most successful year to date. She won the gold medal at the European Games in Minsk and the European Championships in Alcobendas . At the 2019 World Championships in Ulan-Ude , she won the silver medal and defeated six-time world champion Mary Kom in the semi-finals .
