Busso Christian von Blanckensee
Busso Christian von Blanckensee (* 1695 ; † November 10, 1765 in Patschkau ) was a Prussian colonel , chief of garrison regiment No. 10 , knight of the order Pour le Mérite and heir of Steinberg and Nantikow .
Life
His parents were the Prussian colonel and Mr. von Nantikow Anton von Blankensee and his wife, a née von Volkmar, a daughter of the Swedish commander of Bremen-Verden Joachim von Volkmar .
He was an ensign in the "Gersdorf" infantry regiment as early as 1718 . There he rose to the officer's posts and became a colonel on June 15, 1747. In September 1747 he received the "Rettberg" garrison regiment. During the Seven Years' War he was able to distinguish himself in the defense of Neisse under Lieutenant General von Treskow and received the order Pour le Mérite.
Blanckensee died unmarried.
