Buszkowice ( German : Hochbauschwitz ) is a village in the rural community Ścinawa (German Steinau an der Oder ) on the left bank of the Oder . Located four kilometers north of the small town of Ścinawa , it belongs to the Powiat Lubiński in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland.

Buszkowice is located in the fertile plain west of the Oder between Ścinawa and Chobienia , 65 km northwest of Wroclaw . Neighboring towns are Przychowa in the south and Ciechłowice in the north.

history

The place was first mentioned in 1253 as "Gut Boscovo". The Glogau Duke of Konrad II sold the village to the Wroclaw Bishop Thomas I. Hochbauschwitz remained in the possession of the bishops until the secularization in 1811.
