Buttendorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Burgschleinitz-Kühnring in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 37 building areas with 14,600 m² and 24 gardens on 24,480 m² in the cadastral community of Buttendorf , in 1989/1990 there were 34 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 109 and in 2009/2010 there were 60 buildings on 140 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 141 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 20 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 135 hectares and 20 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 133 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 20 hectares. The average soil climate number of Buttendorf is 49.3 (as of 2010).
