César Alcides Balbín Tamayo
César Alcides Balbín Tamayo (born September 8, 1958 in Santa Rosa de Osos ) is a Colombian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Caldas .
Life
César Alcides Balbín Tamayo was ordained a priest for the diocese of Santa Rosa de Osos on November 19, 1985 .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Caldas on January 28, 2015 . He was ordained bishop on March 7th of the same year by the Apostolic Nuncio in Colombia, Archbishop Ettore Balestrero . Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Santa Rosa de Osos, Jorge Alberto Ossa Soto , and the Archbishop of Barranquilla , Jairo Jaramillo Monsalve . The inauguration in the diocese of Caldas took place on March 19, 2015.
