Cainta is a Filipino municipality in the province of Rizal , in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 322,128 inhabitants (August 1st 2015 census) who lived in 7 barangays . It is classified as the first income class community in the Philippines and as urbanized .
Cainta lies on the border with the metropolitan area of Metro Manila . The topography of the community is characterized by the southeastern foothills of the central Luzon plain.
