Cainta is a Filipino municipality in the province of Rizal , in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 322,128 inhabitants (August 1st 2015 census) who lived in 7 barangays . It is classified as the first income class community in the Philippines and as urbanized .
Cainta lies on the border with the metropolitan area of Metro Manila . The topography of the community is characterized by the southeastern foothills of the central Luzon plain. Their neighboring communities are Pasig City and Taguig City in the west, Marikina City in the north, Antipolo City in the east and Taytay in the south.
