Jalajala is a Filipino municipality in the Rizal Province , in Administrative Region IV, Calabarzon. It has 32,254 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 11 barangays . It is classified as a fourth income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
Jalajala is located on a peninsula in the largest inland lake in the Philippines, the Laguna de Bay . Its neighboring communities are Pililla in the north and Pakil , Laguna Province , in the northeast. The topography of the city is characterized by flat lands . In the north, foothills of the Sierra Madre reach the municipal area.
