Pililla is a Filipino municipality in the province of Rizal , in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 64,812 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 9 barangays . It is classified as a first income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .

Pililla is located on the eastern shore of the largest inland lake in the Philippines, the Laguna de Bay . Their neighboring communities are Jalajala in the south and Santa Maria , Mabitac , Pakil , Laguna Province , in the east and Tanay in the north. The topography of the city is characterized by lowlands near the shore and the foothills of the Sierra Madre in the east.
