Mabitac is a Filipino township in Laguna Province , Administrative Region IV, Calabarzon. It has 20,530 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 15 barangays . It is classified as a fifth income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .
Mabitac's neighboring communities are Santa Maria in the north, Famy in the southeast, Pakil and Pangil in the southwest. The topography of the city is characterized by flatlands , gently rolling and mountainous landscapes, the foothills of the Sierra Madre in the east. In the south, the community borders the largest inland lake in the Philippines, the Laguna de Bay .
