Cabuyao is a Filipino city in Laguna Province , Administrative Region IV, Calabarzon. It has 308,745 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 18 barangays . It is classified as the first income class community in the Philippines and as urbanized .
Cabuyao's neighboring communities are Calamba City in the south, Silang in the west, and Santa Rosa City in the north. The topography of the city is characterized by flat lands and gently rolling landscapes. In the east, the municipality borders on the largest inland lake in the Philippines, the Laguna de Bay .
