Alaminos is a Filipino municipality in the Laguna Province , in Administrative Region IV, Calabarzon. It has 47,859 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who lived in 15 barangays . It is classified as a third income class community in the Philippines and as partially urbanized .

Alamino's neighboring communities are San Pablo City in the east, Santo Tomas in the west, and Calauan in the northeast. The topography of the city is characterized by flat lands and gently rolling landscapes.
