Camilla Brunelli (* the 30th March 1957 in Florence ) is an Italian , two languages grew historian and specialist in German . Since 2002 she has been director of the Museo della Deportazione in the Italian city of Prato .

Life

As the daughter of the then foreign correspondent for the Italian daily Corriere della Sera , Brunelli moved with her family to Bonn in 1960 . After graduating from the Nicolaus-Cusanus-Gymnasium in Bonn- Bad Godesberg , she studied history and German at the University of Florence .

From 1988 to 1995 Brunelli a. a. at the Austrian Consulate in Florence and from 1990 to 2007 a. a. as a simultaneous interpreter for the public television station RAI . Since 1984 she has also been active for Prato and the Austrian municipality of Ebensee in the joint city partnership . She also worked several times with the Berlin- based Topography of Terror Foundation .

Brunelli has been the director of the Museo della Deportazione in the Tuscan city ​​of Prato since 2002 . She is an expert in the European culture of remembrance .
