The Campo de Belchite is a comarca ( administrative unit ) of the autonomous region of Aragon in Spain . It is located in the center of the region in the province of Zaragoza . The comarca has 5,505 inhabitants on an area of ​​1,043.8 km². The seat of the district is Belchite , the largest of the 16 associated parishes.

The comarca borders in the west on the Campo de Cariñena and the Campo de Daroca , in the north and northeast on the comarca Saragossa , in the southeast and south on Bajo Martín .

The associated municipalities are next to Belchite Almochuel , Almonacid de la Cuba , Azuara , Codo , Fuendetodos , Lagata , Lécera , Letux , Moneva , Moyuela , Plenas , Puebla de Albortón , Samper del Salz and Valmadrid .

The most important branch of the economy is agriculture on dry soils. The most important crops, besides cereals, are wine and olives . In the comarca are the nature reserves of the water basin of El Planerón (bird sanctuary) and Lomaza de Belchite. Fuendetodos , the birthplace of the painter Francisco de Goya , is in the comarca. The birth house can be visited.
