The Canut (also: Canut Nord ) is a river in France that runs in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region . It rises near Couédouan , in the municipality of Plélan-le-Grand, drains in many loops generally in a south-easterly direction and flows after 45 kilometers at the municipal border of Saint-Senoux and Guichen as a right tributary into the Vilaine .
