Carl Bruchhäuser

Carl Bruchhäuser (* 1991 in Lahnstein ) is a German actor .

Carl Bruchhäuser is the son of the actor and comedian Karl Bruchhäuser (* 1967). His grandfather is the landscape and portrait painter Karl Bruchhäuser . Carl Bruchhäuser, who grew up in Cologne , first studied media culture and African studies after a year abroad in South Africa .

From 2013 to March 2017 he completed his acting studies at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen / Bochum . During his studies he received his first guest engagement at the Rottstraße 5 Theater in Bochum in 2015 . He was then committed to the Bochum theater . There he made his debut in 2016 as Heldentenor Pasqualino, a friend of Tognina, in Carlo Goldoni's comedy The Impresario von Smyrna (directed by Marco Massafra).

At the Theater Dortmund he played since its premiere in February 2016 going into the theater project "The Borderline Procession", a music, art, theater and film installation, directed by Kay Voges . With this production he also made a guest appearance at the 54th Berlin Theatertreffen in May 2017 . In February 2017 Carl Bruchhäuser took on the role of Count Truchß in Claus Peymann's production of Kleist's tragedy Prince Friedrich von Homburg at the Berliner Ensemble . At the Schauspielhaus Bochum he took on the role of Schupo in the children's and family play Pünktchen und Anton in the 2017/18 season .

Bruchhäuser also stood in front of the camera for some film and television roles. In summer 2017, he worked alongside his father in the for the International Film School Cologne (ifs Cologne), directed by Antonia Uhl twisted short film Blind Date with. He was also on stage with his father in the joint theater project “Like father like son” at the Folkwang University of the Arts in the Bochum Theater Center.

Carl Bruchhäuser made his television debut in the spring of 2018 in two ZDF crime series. In February 2018 he was seen in The Public Prosecutor as the later murdered “ lover boy ” Timo Licht. In mid-March 2018, an episode of the ZDF series Notruf Hafenkante was broadcast in which he had a leading role in the episode; Bruchhäuser played the drug dealer Rocco Dosic alongside Béla Gabor Lenz .
