Carl Gustav Thilo

Carl Gustav Thilo (born March 9, 1829 in Gleiwitz , † November 26, 1885 in Frankfurt (Oder) ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Thilo's father was the particular Moritz Thilo. He attended high school in Opole and studied at the University of Breslau law . In 1855 he became a court assessor and in 1862 first public prosecutor in Trebnitz and from 1864 in Glatz . In 1871 he became district court director in Delitzsch and then in 1879 first district court president in Neisse , from 1882 in Frankfurt an der Oder . He was the author of a commentary on the Prussian press law, a book on the Prussian disciplinary legislation and on the Prussian assembly and association law.

He sat in the Prussian House of Representatives from 1867–1871 and 1873–1879 and belonged to the free conservative party. He initially represented the constituency of Breslau 8 ( Neurode - Glatz ), from 1873 the constituency of Merseburg 3. From 1874 to March 1880 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Merseburg 3 (Delitzsch, Bitterfeld ) and the German Reich Party .

Thilo had been married to Elise Beyersdorf, daughter of the merchant Benedict Beyersdorf, since February 3, 1869. The administrative lawyer Franz Thilo was his son.
