Carl Heinrich von Helldorff

Carl Heinrich Ferdinand August von Helldorff (born July 9, 1832 in St. Ulrich ; † November 5, 1905 in Drackendorf ) was a Prussian manor owner, officer and politician.

Life

Carl Heinrich von Helldorff came from the noble Helldorff family . He was educated on the pedagogy in Halle an der Saale . From 1850 to 1862 he served, most recently as Rittmeister , in the Guard Cuirassier Regiment and the 3rd Guard Uhlan Regiment . Then he was a deputy of the Querfurt district and lived on his estate in St. Ulrich .

From 1867 to 1871 he was a member of the constituency Merseburg 7 ( Querfurt , Merseburg ) in the Reichstag of the North German Confederation . In this capacity he was also a member of the customs parliament from 1868 . In the Reichstag he initially remained non-attached and from 1869 belonged to the Conservative parliamentary group . From 1874 until his death he was a member of the Prussian manor house on presentation of the old and fortified property in the rural district of East Thuringia .
